For 13 years, the parking fees in the car parks of Aachener Parkhaus GmbH (APAG) have remained constant. Now the fees in the four city centre car parks Rathaus, Galeria Kaufhof/City, Adalbertstraße and Couvenstraße have to be increased by 50 cents per hour from 10 January 2023 due to increased costs during the day. This means that the price will rise from 2.00 euros to 2.50 euros per hour. Payment will now be made per hour or part thereof, whereas previously it was charged per half hour or part thereof.
The maximum night tariff from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. in these car parks will rise from 6.00 euros to 8.00 euros, the 24-hour tariff from a maximum of 15.00 euros to a maximum of 18.00 euros. The Sunday and public holiday tariff remains constant at a maximum of 6.00 euros.
In the multi-storey car park and the car park at the University Hospital, the charges per hour will also increase by 50 cents. The first two hours now cost 2.00 euros each. From the third hour onwards, 1.50 euros must be paid. The 24-hour rate remains 10.00 euros.
Parking fees in the car parks on the outskirts of the city remain unchanged.
The fees in the other APAG car parks remain unchanged.
