Where do you park your car on the great days in Aachen if you don't use alternative means of transport and don't know how to get to the closed city centre?
APAG and the FestAusschuss Aachener Karneval have a solution. From 15 February 2023 up to and including Ash Wednesday 22 February 2023, APAG will be offering a JeckenTarif for the Parking garage Eurogress.
The managing director of APAG, Simon Papayianni, explains: “In the ‘Jecken Tarif’, APAG is adjusting the 24-hour tariff in the Eurogress multi-storey car park.
Currently, parkers pay a maximum of €12.00 for one day (24h). During this period, we will reduce the 24-hour rate to €7.00. The other price structure remains unchanged.
With the JeckenTarif, we want to support the Jecken when they visit the immaterial cultural heritage of Aachen Carnival and try to reduce the targeted traffic into the city centre somewhat.”
The President of the FestAusschuss Aachener Karneval Frank Prömpeler adds: “The Eurogress multi-storey car park is open 24 hours a day, is within walking distance of the celebration areas in the city centre and the procession route. The Eurogress multi-storey car park can also be accessed at any time during the processions. We thank APAG very much for this support.”
